Artboards are a powerful feature in Adobe Photoshop that allow you to create multiple canvases within a single document. This is useful for designing layouts for websites, mobile apps, or any other project that requires multiple design elements.

There are a few preferences that you can adjust in Photoshop to make working with artboards easier and more efficient. Here are some of the best artboard preferences to use in Photoshop:

1. Show Artboard Boundaries

This preference will show the boundaries of your artboards, which can be helpful for positioning and aligning objects. To enable this preference, go to Edit > Preferences > Interface and select the “Show Artboard Boundaries” checkbox.

2. Automatically Resize Artboards to Image Size

This preference will resize artboards to the size of the image that is currently selected. To enable this preference, go to Edit > Preferences > Interface and select the “Automatically Resize Artboards to Image Size” checkbox.

3. Constrain Proportions When Resizing Artboards

4. Snap to Artboard Borders
